Buzzing Science: Knowledge Within Everyone's Reach
When you're one of the few Italian companies with deep scientific expertise in allergies to Hymenoptera stings, you know that producing medicines remains a priority. But you also know that an equally important battle is being fought on a different front: information and prevention.
That awareness is what set this journey in motion with Anallergo. A path born from the need to raise awareness, one that also met the company's ambition to become more digital, more international, and more present at industry trade fairs.
Anallergo manufactures medicines for treating allergic reactions to bee, wasp, and hornet stings, and is one of the few companies with such specific expertise in the field. Knowledge the company chose to make available to everyone in an industry, pharma, where communicating clearly isn't always easy.
Hymenoptera play a vital role in keeping ecosystems in balance. Yet they're often wrapped up in stereotypes and fear. Understanding them means learning to tell species apart, protect them, and recognize when, and how, they pose a risk.
Together with Anallergo, we listened to three different needs: those of doctors, those of exposed workers, and those of everyday people. That's where the direction came from: a platform tailored to each audience, without ever compromising on scientific rigor. From there, we built Buzzing Science. For doctors, a restricted-access area with scientific documentation for healthcare professionals. For exposed workers, operating procedures and prevention tips, delivered in a direct, action-oriented tone. For the general public, species identification guides and personal stories, plus a library of downloadable resources, with a warmer, more reassuring tone.
We aimed for that same balance, between accessibility and authority, in our visual choices too. The result is an identity that communicates with precision and transparency, without losing warmth or a human touch. A choice driven by the goal of making content clear and immediate, yet reassuring. The aim was never to stoke fear or alarm, but to build awareness.
Because when it comes to allergies, knowing how to recognize risks and how to prevent them can truly make the difference. And greater awareness is the first step toward learning to live alongside what surrounds us.
